Minimum Matriculation with Science. Admission is confirmed after the candidate appears before the committee. A valid CNIC or B-Form issued by NADRA.
1.The student whose name was dropped or struck off from the college due to misconduct or creating law and order situation, shall not be admitted in Akbar Institute of Medical Science Bahawalpur.
2.At any stage Akbar Institute of Medical Science Bahawalpur reserves the right to cancel the admission of the student who has obtained admission by making any misstatement as well as whose admission is found to be in violation of these admission regulations. The concerned Principal is authorized to cancel the admission of such students. The student may within seven days of cancellation can appeal to the MD of Akbar Institute of Medical Science Bahawalpur after depositing Rs. 1000/. The decision of MD of Akbar Institute of Medical Science Bahawalpur will be final.
3.The students having less than 50% attendance per month, their name will be struck off. The concerned Principal is authorized to the readmits the student after depositing Rs. 1000/.

4. Domicile: Must hold a valid domicile certificate of the relevant province or region.
5. Age Limit: Generally between 17 to 35 years (may vary by institution or authority).
c. Then students in merit list will take the Challan form from staff office, and pay the Annual Fee in account of Akbar Institute of Medical Sciences Bahawalpur.
d. The students will have to submit duly filled application form along with relevant documents, photos and copy of deposited fee Slip AIMS Bahawalpur.
These regulations shall be called the Akbar institute of Medical Sciences Bahawalpur Regulations for admission in B-Category program
a) In these Regulations unless the context otherwise requires the following expressions shall have the meanings hereby respectfully assigned to them.
i. Admission Committee means the Akbar Institute of Medical Science Bahawalpur admission Committee constituted by Managing Director Akbar Institute of Medical Science Bahawalpur.
ii. Reserved Seats means the quota seats with predefined criterion.
a). The admission in B-Category of Akbar Institute of Medical Sciences Bahawalpur affiliated with Pharmacy Council of Pakistan will be made in accordance with these regulations.
i. Any admission made in contravention of these regulations shall be void.
b). Principal of Akbar Institute of Medical Science Bahawalpur and Registrar office of the university shall ensure implementation of these regulations and admission criteria as set by Board of Studies in letter and spirit.
i.1% of total numbers of seats of B-Category program is reserved for special persons having certificate of disability issued from District Social Welfare Board.
ii.1% seats are reserved in Akbar Institute of Medical Science Bahawalpur for B-Category program for the children of Martyrs of Army personal and Defense Forces.
iii.1% seats are reserved in Akbar Institute of Medical Science Bahawalpur for B-Category program for the personnel of Pharmaceutical Industries.
iv.1% seats are reserved for Pharmacist Daughter/Son
v.1% seats are reserved for orphan students.
i.Passing Marks in each paper will be 50%. Less than 50% marks student shall be declared as fail.
ii.A student who fails to qualify all the papers in a class in three consecutive chances availed or un-availed shall not be allowed to remain on the rolls of the department.
iii.A student who passed all the subject of the lover class after 3rd chance in annual examination can sit in higher class examination in the 2nd Annual examination, if otherwise eligible.
iv.There is no room for carry on system in annual system.
v.There will be four chances in qualifying 1st year examination of B-Category. However in 2nd and onward examinations after availing 4th chance, the candidate should not be dropped out from the College and must appear in all the subjects as practiced in Universities.
vi.A candidate with an attendance of less than 80% of the total number of lectures delivered to his/her class in all papers taken together (aggregate) and 80% of the practical in papers taken together (aggregate) shall not allowed to take Previous or Final examination as the case may be provided that the MD of Akbar Institute of Medical Science Bahawalpur may on recommendation of the Principal concerned condone for valid reasons (illness/ death in family) deficiency up to 5% of the total lectures and practical delivered to his class (separately).
